One thing for sure, crossing into the Bible Belt is like a trip into a madcap theme-park. Now you can understand why I volunteered to be saved thirty-three times as a child. As you might recall my intent was to bring sermons to a close, get to the donuts, and get hugged by the congregational women. Moving to a new town every week or so really helped 'cause nobody knew me.
